Walkera 2d plastic gimbal

Hey guys, just bought a turnigy action cam for my blade 350qx2 and now would like a gimbal for it. I am trying to keep the weight as low as possible, and keep hearing about these walkera 2d gimbals, made from plastic and weighing 120 grams all up.

Could anyone help me as far as where to purchase one of these for a decent price, sub 50 quid or so, without having to order one in from China? I';m sure there must be somewhere, as the newer model for their own camera has now come out I believe?

I was also wondering if anyone maybe had one which they didnt need in the end that they might sell to me?

Thought it was worth asking!

P.S - are there any other lightweight gimbals that are cheap, but worth considering? - these cheap ebay ones all seem to be around and over the 200 gram mark?

Sorry for all the questions!

Cheers!

Tim

My Mates 350QX has flown perfectly fine with a Sony Camcorder strapped under it, going from how his flew with that on it, i think most 2d gimbals would be fine under it.

thats interesting to hear...I too put a compact camera under it (250 grams), and while the camera was slung back under the quads centre 0f gravity it was fine - but when i tried it hanging straight off the gopro mount at the front you could hear it didnt like it.

I noticed on the older versions there was an oval area under the quad, right under the centre of gravity, which was perfect for mounting a gimbal, but the newer models dont have this. Is it still possible to get the old shell? cheers!
