Having a problemwith recent installation of apm 2.6 in reptile 500, its all wired and powers up but in MP its showing as tilted, i did all the accelerator and compass align correctly, this is causing arming problems and i have redone all the alignments to double check but still same....any idea why and how to put right

APM is very sensitive to its accelerometer calibration, get hold of a turntable spirit level ( maplins)  and when you recalibrate allow the frame to sit for a few seconds before hitting the key. Having  something to rest the frame up against helps a lot.
Remember its the frame that has to be level not the apm, doing the calibration overcomes any inaccuracies in the apm mounting.
Don';t rush it. ::) hope this fixes it.

Thankyou for a fast reply, as said i paid a lot of attention to getting it set up correctly, and its out by a fair old amount, its showing maybe 30 degree tilt so puzzled over this

Similar to hoverflys solution but lower tech . I used a smart phone compass/ spirit level app and large floor tile . Sat the phone in the centre of the tile and used screw driver to lift and level the tile  before sitting the multi on it and running the calibration . Surprising how even a seemingly flat floor can have an incline . Oh and good to see you have persevered with the APM . Took me weeks to get flying with mine . A dodgy GPS unit didn';t help .

I got fed up this morning with the APM issues so i ripped it out and fitted a thunder QQ, but tats flakey and not performing how i expected, so at some stage i will refit the APM and try setting up a spirit level surface to calibrate it all, but this may take a while now as i soon start on the F550 (more problems)
At least i can stick to flying the best Quad around, the 350 Blade

I would reload the firmware on the APM.
You don';t need to have it in the Multi to set it up either. Just plug the bare board into a USB port and run mission planner. You will be able to see if it';s working correctly on the HUD. It also doesn';t need to be absolutely level just thereabouts.
