Arducopter 2.8 motor problems

Hi

I am new to this arducopter business. Have a 2.8  but despite calibrating the esc together and singly i cannot get my motors to run at full speed.

When you do the radio calibration in Mission Planner, do the throttles show as full travel?

Have tried it in both loiter and stabilise.

Seems an age since I had my APM but I do remember having the same problem .

THR_ACCL_IMAX  was at 80 . Set this to 800 for my 930kv motors.



Probably not the issue but worth checking .

Mine was set at 100 set to 900 but still no change. I think i read somewhere that certain motor esc combinations are not compatible.

Yep think it was emax ESC on Pixhawk . My 500 was emax ESC and motore on APM 2.8 (though it was 12months ago not sure of the latest emax  ESC versions)
It was my first build so had a raft of problems my biggest being ESC calibration . I even purchased a new ESC thinking one was faulty .
I ended up buying a programming card and running the calibration dozens of times to finally get in the air.
Keep at it .

Have tried it on my quqdcopter same result. I think it must be a faulty FC so will return it and purchase a replacement

PS I bought this from Jersey but have to return it to Hong Kong for a refund.
