This thing is about to get launched out the window so any advice appreciated!!!! I can';t get the pitch motor to stop shaking, it starts off as a failry small shudder but rapidly progresses on to full on spazzing out with the camera spinning round like a Tasmanian Devil. I';ve followed the set-up advice given by Hobbyking and updated the firmware etc. The camera is solidly mounted to the plate and I';ve tried all the other tips and tricks I';ve found on the web.

Anybody got any experience of these things?

Paul01

Sounds like it needs the pids need tuning, have you got a fairly new Möbius as they come with a larger battery, so are a bit heavier.

As well as PID tuning, you could try moving the camera around a little on its mount - I';ve found that the center of gravity is pretty fussy when using a mobius.
TBS Discovery + ghetto printed gimbal, HovershipMHQ 1 & 2, QAV250, Turnigy Talon V2, chinese Alien500 thingie, 3d Printed Tricopter, Bix 3, Flyingwings.co.uk FalconEVO, Venturi EVO 1+2, Hornet Racing Wing, Radjet800 (by the dozen)... Permanent sucker for FPV, and lots and lots of OpenLR

Thanks for the suggestions but I';ve tried moving the Mobius around the platform and I';ve tried about half a dozen PID settings I found online still with no joy. Only thing left to try is swapping the motors around, someone suggested that worked for them so I';ll give that a go. Failing that I';ll stick to plan Z and hoy the thing through the window!!!

Stevietee

The swapping round of the motors depends in which orientation the gyro sensor is mounted (cable in direction of camera rear or running across platform motor axis).
Don';t forget to calibrate the sensors (there is button on software) this makes a difference!
I';ve just got mine fairly settled, some buzzing some time but movement stops it, don';t know why yet .
I can share my config file if you wish, many other ';fed-up'; users of this crappy product have shared theirs but I think you just need to experiment with your own set-up
BTW i added some weights to back of camera and motor arm to get balance when not powered.
Hope this helps
Cheers
