Aeroxcraft X50 arms fitted - Looks fantastic!

If you frequent this sub-forum you';ll probably know that I';ve been debating investing in the AeroXcraft machined arms for my Flamewheel F550 to replace the stock plastic ones for quite some time.

In the end I invested in a set, and whilst I was at it, in the light of the jello issues I';d been getting, also purchased the landing gear isolator set which will hopefully help a little there.

There were a few worries I';d had before buying, one big one being that the size of my E310 ESC';s are far too big to be fitted in the recommended slot of the arms.
I';m happy to say however thanks to a post I found in an obscure German forum, mixed with a couple of additions of my own I have fitted them, and it looks amazing!

I haven';t yet hit the sky with the new build but will feed back once I have.

Here';s a couple of before/after pics as well as some to show how I fitted the ESCs.

For the ESCs I bought some semi-rigid foam, cut it perfectly to fit into the arm, doubled it up and wedged it in underneath to keep it snug and prevent vibrations.

Ooo very posh. Looks professional in black.

I chose bright colours for Ming but they do look so much more better.

I fitted the isolator landing gear fitting with silicon spacers and it';s worked like magic! Absolutely irradiated any sign of Jello regardless of how I throw it around!

Hi - nice build!

Can you tell me the measurement (in mm) between the centres of the 2 holes where your gimbal mount attaches to the 2 landing gear rails? (I am hoping its 60mm)

Also are the landing gear rails which your grommeted mount slides onto 10mm diameter ?

My reason for asking is because the Tarot frames typically have a centre-point distance of about 60mm between the two 10mm diameter rails and I wonder if your mount might fit a Tarot frame.

Thx.

The rail centres are 68mm and the rails are 12mm diameter.
