Today i had an incident with a prop which has removed one of the 2 aerial on my receiver. Do you think this will compromise my radio strength? also does anyone know where/if i can get a replacement one? I wouldnt be so cheap and buy the whole thing but this was its maiden flight :(

JT

It will still work with one ::)  If you haven';t destroyed the whole thing up to the receiver you can strip back the coax to the same length exposed on the good one and it will be as good as new ~~

BoltRC sell aerials. They are cheap as...

Nige8021

T9Hobbysports sell them individually :)

As it';s a D8R II+ it needs both aerials as it';s also a transmitter for the telemetry data :)

BoltRC sell aerials. They are cheap as...  They RXs have 2 fitted so if one has a signal blocked by, say, a battery or some carbon fiber, the other one will still pick up the Transmitter signal. (Diversity) There are many Receivers out there that only use 1 aerial and most never have a problem.
I would replace it in time, but it won';t stop you from flying unless you like to fly to the extreme distances that your system is capable of.
