OSD connect to FC or not?

I am using a cc3d with CleanFlight so I have 2 proper serial ports available.
I use CleanFlight and a bluetooth module to adjust pids etc so that';s one serial port. I like this and still need to tune my quad when we finally get some calm weather.

I like the idea of seeing info on screen so I bought a Micro MinimOSD and have a gps on it';s way.

I have the option to connect the gps to the osd or the FC. If I connect gps to FC I loose the bluetooth but gain FC data.

Batt voltage goes to OSD so only really loosing pitch, roll and throttle or am I missing something?

So my question is, is there much benefit to connecting an OSD to the FC?
I try :-)

i would say only if you want an artificial horizon. i don';t see the point on a multi, i don';t have it set on my vector.
440 Y6 with vector, F330 quad with naza, hammer 240 with flip32, and watch this space.

Depending on the OSD fw you use, you can also do PID adjustment via the OSD so in theory, you could lose the bluetooth and still get everything you want.

I use MW-OSD on my Minim and Micro Minim';s fwiw.
A new way of buying and selling RC Gear.
