unusual look, but Y6s fly so well. mines very compact, 440mm PCD.

Ynot6, Nice ship buddy, only 440? that';s well neat. Are your motor arms CF? My bruiser is 800mm from deck-front to rear motor and 700mm port / starboard. She is heavy, 3.2KG AUW, mainly due to the deck plates being G10 and Al arms. but am confident she will fly well and climb fast (for her size ) Would like to build one in CF but can';t find a supplier of 10mm square section or plate material at a sane price

actually, same build as yours. 15mm ally box arms, G10 plates (pcb from maplin!). black and red paint from wilko.

Hi all,
Maiden flight was today (Tues). I made two flights of 11 mis each and I am pleased so far. The climb rate is good and pitch / roll is fine. Yaw is a little sloppy at the moment, she does not pirouette, but describes an arc when rotating. I think my COG is a little off and she needs a little tuning. The gimbal worked better than expected which was nice. All in all, a good day.......

make sure the measurements are correct for the offset of the GPS puck from CoG. strange stuff can happen with naza if it';s wrong. strangely, there is no such offset in vector, but my Y6  with the GPS puck behind the CoG turns on the spot.
