Hi. Got a Futaba t8j/Flamewheel f550combo and got a problem that the throttle stick kicks in to a (step change) acceleration at about 50% stick. No dual rates set and can';t figure out why it s not just smooth linear progression. Any ideas? Thanks.

Assuming a Naza on that 550, do you mean it doesn';t take off until you';re above 50% throttle?  If so that is by design.  Once airborne it should behave normally.

This is based on observations of other conversations.  I don';t own a Naza myself.
