Hello all

I have downloaded Baseflight from Google Chrome and i am not sure if i need to download a driver because when i plugged my Naze into my PC the light came on but it could not connect to Baseflight and although when i plugged the USB in my PC it loaded some (i guess default drivers) but i doubt it was the right one.

It seems yet again i have hit a brick wall even following a video off the tube.

i can only say what';s on cleanflight, but in the intro pages there is a link to the driver, which you just down load. no need to do anything else, it just gets on with it';s thing when you connect up. hope baseflight is as easy for you.
440 Y6 with vector, F330 quad with naza, hammer 240 with flip32, and watch this space.

I have found the driver installed it and connected the Naze again and at least my PC now sees the flight controller and moving the quad it is the same as depicted on the screen but my Orange RX is not reponding in the program.

Have you set up the rx type in the cli or gui? I think orange offers ppm?

Hi flybywire

I think in the CLI I need to type enable ppm and also some motor stop commands and then type save but I am not sure yet exactly what I need to type in case it has some commands that need an underscore or similar and i will have another go at trying to understand some of it tomorrow as I am at my dad';s home at the moment.

I appreciate any help and advice from regarding this setup procedure as the last time I did this I ruined a brand new Multiwii AIOP board   :cry

I read about connecting the lipo but as i once ruined a Multiwii AIOP board i am very wary of what I am doing but I would not know where to go without all your help.

Perhaps it is just a lack of confidence I don';t know.

Dave

You need to connect the lipo so the receiver is powered.

Make sure the props are removed before doing this
