Recently I ordered a set of flight cases from Maplin and some foam from foam from Anyfoam

Today I got round to cutting it up and making a carry case for the 250.

The outcome.....

Quite pleased with the outcome everything fits snugly my knife skills could be better though

Also did the other two cases but not decided on a use for them may sell the medium sized one on.

Really nice skills with those cases, my skills with the foam cutting are nothing even close to that.

Really smart solution

I found the best way to cut the foam was to use the retractable snap off style craft knives with the blade fully out.

Push the blade through then use a sawing action and follow your line.
For long straight, score along a ruler first then use the sawing method and follow your straight cut.

Thanks its just a shame my Quanum goggles don';t fit in, that would have made it perfect.

But I have room for some more batteries and spares.

Perhaps a new section of the forum titled "Flyers Wives"?
I reverse polarities for fun.

In the interests of fairness and equality there would also need to be a ';fliers husbands'; section. Just warning you now so you can avoid / seek out the relevant sub category and/or stock up on eye bleach as required.
