Now what the problem is ,is that when I power it up it gets a lock, all shows up ok but everything judders and jumps.I havn';t got a clue what it is so can anyone help me here? Also when I unplug the power out of port V1 everything still shows up.The instructions are typical HK(vague)
Thanks

Hmm...  :hmm:

Did you go through the settings on the LCD and try switching PAL and NTSC?  Does the OSD have any such options?

Can you plug the VRX into another display? Perhaps your TV or PC monitor has a S-Video input?  If the picture is still showing this ghosting effect try the camera directly on the VTX, without the OSD.

If the picture is fine on a different display you could open up your FPV monitor and check if the panel is connected to a socket (the cheap and nasty ones are usually soldered).  Try to reseat the ribbon cable.

Some ribbon cables are plugged into ZIF sockets whose locking mechanism is a bit flimsy.  If yours has one be careful when you open the latch.  You open them by either pulling the latch out or flip it up, depending on the socket type.  They might also be plugged into LIF sockets, in which case you can remove the ribbon cable by holding it on both sides and pull it out straight.  Same way to put it back in.

The ribbon cables are not designed to be removed repeatedly and the contacts inside the socket will grind away the conductive plating on the cable';s connector.

I haven';t seen this kind of problem on FPV monitors before, but I haven';t had many to play with.

There is a comment on the HK site saying that cameras with more than 650TVL will produce artefacts.  Could that be your issue?

Good luck.  :crossfingers:
