combined camera and VTX?

Are the combined camera and VTX units such as the quanum FPV plus / walkera Ilook plus any good?

are there any other similar style models worth looking at?

all I';m after is a camera that will sit nicely on my gimbal, records good quality footage but I have the ability to see what I';m recording from the ground (it';s beginning to get annoying trying to get good shots without seeing what the camera is pointing at) and these little things looked perfect for the job. I already have an FPV system so this would just be an addition to it. I just really like the Idea of not having to mess about routing cables and soldering stuff in, also makes it nice and easy to remove when I';m not using the the quad for video. what';s your thought';s guys??

Personally I would stay away from combined units simply because if any of it fails you need to replace the whole unit, alternatively i would use a mobius with a separate vtx that way you get decent footage with the ability to stream it back to your ground station.

I used to own the standard iLook.  Built in VTX was novel for about a week, then swapped it for a SJ4000 and simple TX.  Much happier.  The CP aerial on the side of the iLook played havoc with my gimbal
