Baro test

Is there any way I can test the Baro on my Naze 32 board?
When I hit RTH it sometimes goes OK but other times it climbs like a gremlin shoved a torch up its'; pants.  It gets small real quick. It stays on track though.

It has breathable foam covering the board before anyone tries to tell me that. I want to know if there is a test of any sort.
Maybe I should just buy a GPS with a Baro?
Would that interfere with the on-board one?

Thanks

shazzy

The naze isn';t renowned for its Baro use. Both cleanflight and baseflight don';t really utilise it very well aside from some instances I';ve seen where people have messed around with some pid values for Baro (on my phone, cant remember the variable)

If you wanted to test, you can visually see the output of the Baro in the logging screen and see how that fluctuates, again this won';t be representative of in flight characteristics

Couldnt you test it by watching the height display in you osd overlay ?, it gives height in metres which is derived from the barometric sensor

Good thought Guys thanks.  I am aware some came out and some baros didn';t work.
Meantime my mate just got a GPS with Baro on it so we might experiment with that one.
Cheers
