Hi Tech guru';s

I have bought this gimbal assembly http://www.electriflite.co.uk/store17/index.php/multicopters/camera-mounts/bggp3x2.html  Close up of the board

The gimbal works in basic stabilisation but I can';t get it to respond to input from the Tx, I';ve tried it through the FC (APM 2.6) & direct from the Rx, I';ve downloaded the "BLG GUI tool" when I selected download from eeprom it showed the RCPitch was disabled, so switched that to PWM & RC ch 3 & altered the RC min & Max to +/-60 hit the write to eeprom but it still wont respond to the Tx ???

The switch is a reset switch... try doing a Google on Martinez Brushless Gimbal Controller
You will find that board on here http://www.itsqv.com/QVW/index.php?title=How_To_-_Martinez_Brushless_Gimbal_Controller_Set-Up

Well I got about half way through updating the thing following the info from the above link, and it fell off the bench with all the jittering and the USB socket fell/ripped off the board :embarrassed So now I';ll have to get a micro tipped soldering iron and try to resolder it :(

JT

You can solder in header pins to the connections top right of your pic marked VCC, RXI,TXO and GND and use a bluetooth module instead of the usb ~~  I have had the usb break on two of these boards in the past, they are very weak....

So I';ve repaired the USB socket and updated the FW (BruGi 050 r217 ?) but I still can';t get it to respond to pitch inputs, tried it direct from a RX, a servo tester, it doesn';t attempt to move? It works OK in basic stabilising, what settings should I be changing on the RC pitch page?
