My First Build! BEE 245

After reading through plenty of comments here and in other locations I decided to go ahead and order the parts to build my first Quad. Never one to do things by half. Decided to go for the BEE 245 from HobbyRC. Would like to say thanks to the guys there for the help in fine tuning my order.  As the bits arrived I did wonder what I had gotten myself into! I can now say that the maiden flight was a couple of days ago, in a slight windy Scottish day.
I can see there is going to be a lot of fun in the near future, all I need is some calm days and off I will go.

If I can just say one thing it was made much easier with all the information I gleamed from this forum. So thanks all those folks that answer the questions  ~~

Will work get some shot taken and post them here.  That should be a new challenge.  Still waiting for the weather to improve and will also need to get my hands on a Mobius. Unless there are other options.

Pics on the way :crossfingers:

I finished my first ever build a couple of weeks ago, and I chose the Bee245 too. It';s a great looking frame, and about the lightest I could find. I also ordered mine from HobbyRC, along with most of the other bits and pieces needed. Great service from those guys.

I should get mine this week. i know its a bit late but what motors are you using, hope the pictures go up before i start my build

Not sure how these will look, but took them this morning when I took the Bee out for its first real test flight. Managed to break two props today, but as I am a complete novice I think I will accept that as part of my training.

The build is as follows.

Emax MT2204';s
Props are Gemfan 5040';s
Naze32 full.
Futaba R2008SB.

I have an FPV camera to fit Sony CC1333-B and will add a Mobius as well.

Couple of questions that I am sure someone will be able to answer

1. Does anyone know if I need a specific cable to use the S.Bus on the Futaba receiver and if there is anything I need to do to the Naze, other than set the Sbus on.

2. Which way is up on the Sony camera?

As this is all very new to me what images do you normally put up?

I haven';t had so much fun for a long time.   lol.  :wack0
