Hi, guys. Has anyone got any comparison info between Zenmuse HD 3D and AeroXcraft gimbals? Even better if you have experience of these on the AeroXcraft landing gear that I am looking to buy. If anyone has any input did you also use any additional damping with the AeroXcraft landing gear? I';m wondering if you get £150 better video if you buy Zenmuse over AeroXcraft? Thanks in advance for any help

Thanks for the first reply. I should have said that I';m flying a DJI F550 with Naza-M V2 and GPS.

Remember the Zenmuse gimbals only work with DJI Flight Controllers..    my recommendation is if you have DJI.. just buy the Zenmuse.. makes life easier.. and works first time everytime..

If you are flying any other flight controller.. then you have more options.. that said..  you have to spend a bit to get a gimbal that will beat a Zenmuse..

Trend is towards airframes that use the lipos in the damping calculations to help the gimbal vibrations..  S900, S1000,  Tri trooper, Sky Hero etc..  .. ie: the Lipos set on the same isolated plate the gimbal is attached to..

As if to back up Craig';s post, the H3 3D is simply brilliant, plug it in and forget it exists.  I was throwing my copter around all over the place on Sunday, and the results were still silky smooth.  When you have things to worry about on the field with getting a flight/shot in, it';s so much easier to just trust the gimbal is going to work.  I';ve cocked up some shots which would have been awesome when I used my RCTimer gimbal, which is why I went H3 3D. Only issue is the ribbon cable is weak at best, I spread hot glue on mine to stiffen it up a bit.

Here';s some of what I shot Sunday although I was tooling around the sky from shot to shot (not in this edit) the transitions still looked like they were on rails.:
