I';d like a new indoor quad to replace my tiny syma x12.
I love flying indoors as I live on the coast and is quite windy here alot.
Anyway I';ve seen this little beast at hobbyking that seems to tick the boxes for me, anyone had any experience of this kit?

I';ve read much of the thread on RCGroups. It';s a novel little quad, but there are some QA problems, it appears to be quite prone to damage (despite it';s tiny mass) and the price of spare motors is astronomical compared to a "normal" 250 class motor, for example. A bit like the Turnigy/Hobbyking micro H (except the motor bit). I';m really hoping someone comes along and does a really good 1s brushless quad, or at least the parts to make one, sooner rather than later.

I';ll have a look at that thread, Thanks for letting me know. But from what you are saying it sounds like it';s not going to be right for me anyway (easy to damage).
I hope someone will realise soon that this is a much needed product, surely many quad flyers would be in the market for such a thing?

A carbon frame brushless hubsan would be perfect, for the many days you want to fly but conditions outside won';t allow.
