gopro cheaper alternative??

Just wondered if anyone had found something on their travels around the internet?

I';m looking for a "gopro" style camera that ideally shoots 1080p at 60FPS with live analogue out and preferably cheaper than the real thing

I';m hoping this may save me hours of searching and reading spec sheets!!

go look at sj4000 im happy with mine plenty of side by side comparisons on you tube and a fraction of the cost

The SJ 5000+ does 1080p60.  Not sure about live video.

Sells for £115-ish on banggood.com.

+1 you can get it for a very good price and pretty quickly from Banggood but if you want it quick make sure you select the UK warehouse option, it';s a bit more expensive though.

Yeah, just don';t go for the knock offs called SJ5000 or something.  The two are not related.

cheers guys, I';ll take a looksy. To be honest the live analog out is probably the more important feature. I don';t really see much point in chucking a camera in the air if i have no idea what it';s pointing at. I want to video actual "things" rather than just the "flight"

Techmoan was one of the first to say stay away from things claiming to be the SJ5000

That';s one of the knockoffs isn';t it?  Don';t the genuine ones have ';SJCAM'; on the front?

all the "SJ';s" seem to only have an HDMI out port. can anyone confirm if they have live analog out from a hidden port or the USB port like gopro and mobius??

If i cant hook it up to a VTX It';s not for me....

I have an SJ400 and love it
Almost as good as my GoPro Hero 3
The only issue is you have to go into the menu each time and set TV out for FPV
and it does not stay if you switch it off and back on
so if you have it in a Gimbal can be a bit awkward

But for £60 as opposed to £300 it is a small thing

don';t mind paying a bit more but i do mind paying £300+ for a gopro, thats a lot of camera to crash and burn!!!

The new SJ5000+ does 1080p at 60fps....not even 1080p double framed!
