Anybody using the Sony RX 100 or the A 6000

Is anybody using the Sony RX 100 or the A 6000 if so I';d be really interested to know what you think of them any any other info like what you';re carrying them on and what gimbals are good for either??

Just ordered a Tarot 680pro with gimbal from Peter King - it will be configured for an A6000 (I hope). Had planned to use the Olympus EM-1 but can';t do video out except in playback.

Not sure the gimbal he is going to use though. Will let you know the details when I have it.

Just ordered an A6000 to replace my Nex 5N on my Zenmuse Z15..(that was a mouthful lol)

I do more still work than video.. and my gimbal is for the Nex only..    had issues trying to find a Micro HDMI adapter for Zenmuse.. but got that sorted now.

The AF on the A6000 is supposed to be lightening.. so hoping I don';t have to use manual focus anymore.

Sony are rumoured to be bringing out a full frame Nex format camera later this year.. hoping it has 4k video as well..   if not will need to buy a GH4

Why would you use autofocus for aerial shots? Surely it is manual, infinity, and off you go.

Hi, has your A6000 arrived yet? If so, what do you make of it so far? Also which lens are you using on it please?

I';m torn between that or a Sony Nex-6. Price and weight is a key factor and these two have very little between them. This is a pretty good comparison of the two:

I really like my A6000, the auto focus is very fast.  I use the auto focus while flying without any issue.

I currently use a Sigma 19mm F2.8 lens with great results.  Considering getting the 30mm to complement it.

I saw your website a while ago and noticed you use the A6000 and had the Quanternium Spidex Pro which I hear good things about, how do you find their gimbal, was it easy to set up or did it need lots of tuning ???

The other thing, whilst they';ll be hugely better at stills than a Gopro how much real difference do people think there';d be for video, is it really going to be that noticeable and if so what are those differences likely to be?
