Arduino timed out whilst flashing with Multiwii

Has anyone come across this problem - I';m trying to flash my Crius AIOP v2 board with multwii and keeping get the following message after the uploader stops at around 80%:

avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout
avrdude: stk500v2_getsync(): timeout communicating with programmer

Didn';t have any problem with MegapirateNG whilst uploading.

Hi Otis888 are you using a fresh copy of the Arduino app one with out the megapirate libraries in

Yes - new folder with only multiwii and arduino 1.3 software in it.  Suppose it wouldn';t hurt to try deleting all traces of MegapirateNG  and Arduino and starting from a fresh install.

I did give up on Multiwii last night and went back to MegapirateNG and everything works fine - just need to tinker with the sonar.

I have seen people have probs before and a complete fresh installof the app has got it going its weird but sometimes it works  you deff had the correct board type selected as this can cause a time out ?

Good point about board type as Crius AIOP v2 isn';t listed so I';ve been using V1 board config!!!?

The v2 works ok on the v1 define in multi wii, I meant the board type in the arduino app not the firmware
